IBM Bluemix Service Description Term “Extracts”

The following extracts from the IBM Bluemix Service Description (Noticed on or before 06JUNE2017; Effective by 06JULY2017) are provided as a courtesy to clients to view certain provisions or to provide additional reference terms for SoftLayer legacy clients or resellers who have legacy non-standard “terms of service” agreements:

• Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for standard Bluemix Services
• Acceptable Use Policy
• Privacy Terms (replacing former SoftLayer Privacy Agreement)

Data Migration Services Terms

SoftLayer Reseller Terms (Noticed 12DEC2016; Effective 12JAN2017):

• SoftLayer Reseller Agreement (available from your SoftLayer or IBM Channels Sales Representative)

• Privacy Terms replacing the SoftLayer Privacy Agreement (see IBM Bluemix Service Description Term “Extracts” above)

SoftLayer Legacy Customer Contracts (Noticed 12DEC2016; Effective 12JAN2017):^*

• Legacy Master Service Agreement / Reseller Agreement and “Terms of Service” with SoftLayer (Customer or Reseller) *

^*Note: There are a small number of SoftLayer Customers (or Resellers) on “non-standard “terms of service” terms, as acknowledged by the SoftLayer Sales Engagement Team, that do not have applicable “terms of service” to allow them to purchase Bluemix Services other than Bluemix infrastructure-as-a-service services (f/k/a SoftLayer Services), e.g. Bluemix platform-as-a-service services. As such, the SoftLayer Sales Engagement Team will reach out to these SoftLayer Customers (or Resellers) on “SoftLayer Legacy Customer Terms of Service” to make arrangements to migrate them during the first of 2017 to the necessary terms to permit them to be able to buy all services offered by SoftLayer through the SoftLayer Portal. Please contact your SoftLayer Sales (or Channels Sales for Resellers) account representative if you would like to buy Bluemix Platform Services and migrate at an earlier date.
