SoftLayer® Teams Up with Tech Wildcatters Incubator Program

Provides Infrastructure, Guidance, and Support to Help Startups Transform the Industry

Dallas—March 15, 2011—

SoftLayer Technologies^®, the innovation leader in Cloud, Dedicated, and Hybrid hosting, today announced a partnership with the Tech Wildcatters Incubator Program, a Dallas-based “microseed” fund and startup accelerator. SoftLayer will provide the program’s startup companies a $1,000 credit per month for 12 months for SoftLayer services (including cloud, dedicated, or hybrid solutions), a direct channel to SoftLayer thought leaders, and co-marketing activities including case studies, customer stories, press releases, and more.

Every spring and fall, Tech Wildcatters selects 8-10 new technology companies to attend a 12-week “bootcamp,” and provides them with up to $25,000 in funding and an opportunity to present to angel investors, venture capitalists, and corporate development teams. The program focuses on delivering exceptional mentorship, leveraging an impressive roster of successful entrepreneurs committed to providing guidance, and insight across all aspects of technology and business.
